Dermal fillers are our most popular aesthetic treatment. A gel made from Hyaluronic Acid is injected to define, restore volume and smooth out lines and folds in the skin caused by the ageing process. Popular areas to be treated are lips, cheeks, chins, jawlines, naso-labial lines and lines around the mouth. The procedure is tailored to your own requirements which will be discussed at the free, no obligation consultation.
How long do fillers last?
Depending on the brand of filler and the area injected, fillers can last up to 12 months. This will be discussed with you at your consultation and your filler choice will be tailored to suit you best.
What does the treatment involve?
Prior to any treatment, a thorough medical and treatment questionnaire is completed to make sure you are suitable for the treatment. We also discuss the benefits, side effects and your expectations of the treatment so that you can make an informed choice as to whether this is the right treatment for you. The consultation is your opportunity to find out everything about the filler treatments we provide, the expected outcomes and any side effects that may occur. We never treat on the same day as a consultation, so you are never pressured into having treatment done.
Treatment takes approximately 30 minutes depending on the area, but your appointment time will be longer as an anaesthetic cream is applied before the treatment to reduce pain. We can also arrange for dental local anaesthetic to be administered for lips. Charlotte is trained to inject fillers with needles and cannulas, the best way to treat will be discussed in your consultation. Whilst there is no ‘downtime’ following the procedure, we recommend you have the procedure done during a quiet time in your diary, to allow for any swelling and bruising to resolve.
