Gabby is a dedicated osteopath committed to ensuring that each patient receives tailored treatment and support, guiding them towards optimal health and recovery.
Gabby’s primary focus is structural osteopathy, where she effectively addresses musculoskeletal issues and alleviates pain and tension. She is also enthustastic about cranial osteopathy and is actively pursuing professional development in this area to offer more comprehensive care to her patients.
Additionally, Gabby has a keen interest in women's health, pregnancy, and postnatal care. She is currently studying paediatric osteopathy to further enhance her practice so that she can provide specialised care for both mothers and their babies in the near future.
Gabby achieved her Masters’ degree in Osteopathy with distinction from Plymouth Marjon University after an intensive four-year course.
Gabby has also completed a Diploma in Medical Acupuncture. This additional qualification allows her to skillfully integrate the practice of medical acupuncture with her expertise in osteopathy. By combining these modalities, Gabby provides her patients with a holistic approach to healthcare, effectively addressing a wide range of conditions and promoting overall well-being.
Beyond her osteopathic practice, Gabby is also a qualified Sports Massage Therapist (ITEC Level 3 Qualification) and holds an NPQ Level 3 in personal training and NPQ level 2 in planning and delivering gym-based exercise. This allows her to address the needs of athletes and individuals seeking rehabilitation.
In addition to her clinical work, Gabby also works as an Osteopathy Clinical Tutor at Plymouth Marjon University. Here, she contributes to the academic and clinical delivery of the Integrated Masters Programme, including clinic supervision, lecturing, and taking on module leadership, to support the education of future osteopaths.
Separately, she serves as a Council Associate for the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC), the regulatory body for osteopaths. The Council Associates programme aims to identify and develop future governance leaders within the profession who have the potential to develop their skills and knowledge to undertake future non-executive positions, either at the GOsC or elsewhere.
